Join the women of First Southern Baptist Church, Overgaard as they grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and work together in serving Him. We have three main ministries for women. They are WEM, LEAD and DRESS A GIRL.
WEM (Women's Enrichment Ministry)
The Women's Enrichment Ministry hosts a Tuesday Morning Bible Study at the church, and a number of other special functions throughout the year. WEM typically takes a break in the Winter months.
LEAD (Ladies encouragement and discipleship)
The LEAD group hosts a Tuesday Evening Bible Study at the Rim Country Community Center. LEAD typically takes a break in the Summer months.
Dress a girl
Dress A Girl is an international ministry providing home made dresses to girls in impoverished nations around the globe, along with the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Dress A Girl meets monthly on Saturday mornings to prepare the dresses for delivery, while members sew dresses throughout the month.
